Benzimidazole-modified polyaniline micro-shells for electrochemical detection of cadmium in aqueous solution

چکیده

Benzimidazole-functionalized polyaniline (BMPANI) was synthesized by interfacial poly­merization technique and used for electrochemical sensing of cadmium ions in an aqueous solution. The material characterized its structural morphological features using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffractometry (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM). BMPANI has a micro-shell structure produced from the self-assembly monomer units solution before polymerization reaction. trialed ion BMPANI-modified carbon paste electrode (BMPANI-CPE). Electrochemical techniques, i.e., cyclic voltammetry (CV) differential pulse anodic stripping (DPASV), were performed to assess characteristics material. Various preparation parameters, deposition potential, pH solution, thickness active layer, optimized achieve highest level sensitivity. selectivity towards ions, interference other as well stability reusability BMPANI-CPE, also examined found be satisfactory.
